Kannada Actor Sanchari Vijay Passes Away: Kiccha Sudeep, Danish Sait offer condolences

National award-winning actor Sabcahri Vijay passed away on Monday after being severely injured in a bike accident. The accident took place in Bengaluru on Saturday evening. Following the accident, Sancahri had undergone emergency brain surgery. However, the actor succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

Vijay’s brother Siddesh Kumar confirmed the sad news. He informed the media that they will be donating the late actor’s organ. “Doctors have informed us that his brain stem has failed and the possibilities of him reviving are very slim. As you all know he always worked for the betterment of society. He even worked round the clock on the relief efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic. So, we have decided to donate his organs. We believe that it will bring him peace. He will continue to help society even in death. Thanks to everyone who tried to do their best to help him,” Siddesh was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

Mourning Vijay’s untimely death, actor Kichcha Sudeep tweeted, “Very very disheartening to accept that Sanchari Vijay breathed his last. Met him couple of times just bfr this lockdown,,,, all excited about his nxt film,, tats due for release. Very sad. Deepest Condolences to his family and friends. RIP(sic).”

Comedian-actor Danish Sait expressing his sorrow over Vijay’s death tweeted, “How unfortunate is this, I just saw an article saying he was in the ICU, and now I read this. My condolences to Mr. Sanchari Vijay’s family and friends. Rest in peace sir, your contribution to cinema will live forever (sic).”

According to the TOI report, Vijay was riding pillion with his friend Naveen on a bike as he stepped out to buy medicine. Reportedly their bike skidded and hit an electric pole and Vijay was severely injured. A case has been registered against the actor’s friend, Naveen.
