The much-awaited movie of Silambarasan’s film, ‘Maanaadu’ was expected to hit the cinema halls tomorrow, on November 25. However, now it has been postponed, the announcement was made by the makers on social media.

Taking to his Twitter page, Producer Suresh Kamatchi wrote, “A creation created with a lot of dreams. I was looking forward to its delivery. It is with great pain that I inform you that the release of #Maanaadu has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. I will announce the release date later and apologise for the inconvenience.”

Reportedly, the tickets booked for the film via online will get refunded to their accounts. The reason behind the postponement isn’t known yet. The release date of the film is yet to be unveiled.

Reportedly, the film revolves around the Chief Minister’s bodyguard and a police officer, who is surrounded in a time loop, on the day of a public conference and required to live the same day over and over again.

‘Maanaadu’is a Tamil-language science fiction action thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions.

Earlier, The film was earlier scheduled to release on Diwali (4 November 2021)It was filmed extensively in Chennai, with sporadic schedules taking place in Pondicherry, Yercaud, and Hosur. It will also be dubbed and released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages,

The film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and S. J. Suryah alongside Bharathiraja, S. A. Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaren in supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for political drama.
