With the #MeToo movement gaining heat more skeletons have been tumbling out of the closet. In Bollywood, several biggies’ name made to the list of alleged offenders which left everyone shocked and disappointed. A few weeks back there were reports doing the round that suggested how Sushant Singh Rajput made his ‘Kizie Aur Manny‘ co-star Sanjana Sanghi uncomfortable.

Two days back we told you how the film’s director Mukesh Chhabra failed to support Sanjana amidst the rumours of Sushant misbehaving with her. And now that Sushant’s Twitter handle has been unverified, everyone is wondering if this has got anything to do with the sexual harassment allegations against him.

Sushant took to the micro-blogging site and clarified that the disappearance of the ‘blue tick'(verification mark) has got nothing to do the stories of his alleged sexual harassment that has been doing the rounds since the last few days. In fact, he pointed out that the tick has been missing since September 5.

Also clearing the air around his equation with co-star Sanjana, the actor wrote, “I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what was, in the midst of this curated and well timed smear campaign. From the first till the last day of the shoot, this is what happened on the Set with Sanjana.”

Interestingly Sushant’s claim has been supported by Mukesh who himself has been under the scanner after several anonymous actresses named and shamed him in the on-going Me Too campaign.

Now we wonder then why his Twitter account has been unverified?
