Varun Sharma to debut on the small screen

Actor Varun Sharma of ‘Fukrey’ fame will soon be foraying into television with the show titled ‘Ice Road Truckers’. In the series, Varun will be one among the three celebrities who will face the challenge of driving a truck through the tough terrains of Kargil.

He will be jetting off on a road trip for the same from Manali to Kargil and Turtuk – the gateway to Siachen Glacier. Before he sets out for the trip, Varun will learn how to drive a truck.

Varun confirmed the same and also told a leading daily for almost three weeks he would be cut off from modern amenities. However, he admitted that he is looking forward to go camping, and visit the Tiger Point where the Kargil war was fought.

Varun Sharma was last seen in the movie ‘Dilwale’ last year and will next be seen in ‘Raabta’ which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon.
