Shobhaa De’s tweet on Sridevi’s funeral irks Twitteratis. Deets Inside!

Past few days in Bollywood have not been that easy, as the industry lost one of its most versatile star; Sridevi. Known as the first female superstar, Sridevi’s sudden demise left the whole Bollywood in a state of shock. While there were fans and many stars from B-Town who shared their grief on Twitter, it was Columnist and novelist Shobhaa De’s tweet that irked many.

Known as a lady who does not mince her words, the author’s tweet on late Bollywood actress Sridevi’s funeral received a lot of backlash. On Wednesday, February 28th, when Sridevi’s prayer meet was being held at Celebrations Sports Club followed by the funeral at Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium in Mumbai, Shobhaa took to her official Twitter and took a dig at the name of the venue.
