BTS Jungkook

Although BTS member Jungkook has not yet posted anything on his new Instagram account, he has already amassed over 3 million followers in less than 24 hours. Just days after his military discharge, Jungkook made a return to Instagram, surprising fans when the seven members of the globally renowned K-pop group went live unannounced via his new handle — @mnijungkook.

BTS Jungkook Is BACK On Instagram After Months Of Deactivation

During the live session, Jungkook explained the meaning behind his username, saying, “The full form of the user ID is: My Name Is Jungkook.” Despite not sharing any posts so far, his follower count skyrocketed quickly. It’s also worth noting that Jungkook owns another Instagram account dedicated to his dog, with the username Bam’s Dad.

Currently, Jungkook is in Los Angeles with the rest of BTS, working on their upcoming album. Recently, J-Hope was spotted at Incheon Airport, confirming that the group’s visit to Los Angeles is solely for album production. He shared, “They are there in advance, working on new music in the US, so they will be away from South Korea for the next two months. Yes, now, it’s time to work (on music).”

BTS Reunion

For those unaware, all BTS members have completed their mandatory military service, with Suga returning on June 21, 2025. The group is now officially planning a comeback. It has been previously confirmed that BTS will return in spring 2026 with a new album and an international tour. This announcement was made during a surprise 30-minute livestream on Weverse.

All seven members—Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, and RM—appeared together for the first time since September 2022. “We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,” BTS stated jointly on July 1. “Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music… We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album,” they added.
