After a long legal battle, Cardi B can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The rapper and pop star has won a seven-year-old case where she was accused of physically attacking a security guard. The court cleared her of all charges, putting an end to a controversy that had followed her for years.

Speaking outside the courtroom, Cardi B strongly denied ever laying a hand on the woman. “I will say it on my deathbed: I did not touch that woman. I did not touch that girl. I didn’t lay my hands on that girl,” she said firmly.

She also sent out a warning to anyone planning to file false cases against her in the future. “The next person who tries to do a frivolous lawsuit against me, I’m going to counter-sue, and I’m gonna make you pay, because this is not OK. I am not that celeb that you sue, and you think it’s going to settle. I’m not gonna settle. Especially when I’m super completely innocent,” the singer declared.

Details About The Case

The case dates back to 2018 when Cardi B was secretly pregnant with her first child with rapper Offset. She was accused of attacking a security guard named Ellis, who reportedly recorded her without permission as she stepped out of a doctor’s appointment. According to reports, Cardi was upset as she had not even shared the news of her pregnancy with her parents at that time.

Her lawyer argued that while there was a brief verbal exchange lasting about a minute, there was no physical altercation. The judge eventually ruled in Cardi B’s favour, clearing her name after years of speculation.

This victory marks another strong stance by Cardi B against false allegations.
