TV’s brightest stars were honoured at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles. The drama series The Pitt took home the award for Outstanding Drama Series, leading the night with 13 nominations. The Studio won Outstanding Comedy Series after tying the record of 23 nominations, previously set by The Bear in 2024. Adolescence was named Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.
Emmy Awards 2025
In acting categories, Britt Lower won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Severance. Noah Wyle earned Outstanding Lead Actor for his performance in The Pitt. In comedy, The Studio star Seth Rogen won Outstanding Lead Actor, while Jean Smart received her seventh career Emmy — and fourth for her role in Hacks — as Outstanding Lead Actress.
In the limited series category, Stephen Graham was honoured as Outstanding Lead Actor for Adolescence. Cristin Milioti won Outstanding Lead Actress for her role in The Penguin.
