Justin Baldoni Alleges Blake Lively Of Using Her Celebrity Fame To Influence Legal Battle- Report

Blake Lively is preparing to face Justin Baldoni in court amid their ongoing legal dispute related to It Ends With Us. The legal proceedings between the co-stars have intensified daily, with the deposition date now scheduled. However, Baldoni’s legal team has accused Lively of leveraging her celebrity status to influence the process.

Reports indicate that Lively requested to move the deposition to Thursday in New York City, to take place at her attorneys’ office rather than Baldoni’s. She expressed concerns that paparazzi might follow her if she were seen leaving Baldoni’s lawyer’s office. According to Page Six, Justin Baldoni’s attorneys responded to Lively’s request, alleging that she is using her celebrity influence. They stated, “there is no evidence of paparazzi being present outside the property,” countering her claims.

In a statement, Lively’s lawyers remarked, “Although Lively’s foot-stomping and use of her celebrity status may have enabled her to seize control of the film, which is the crux of this dispute, her counsel’s tantrum has no place in this Court.” Previous reports also accused Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, of turning the deposition into “a spectacle.”

Last week, Lively’s team stated, “Ms. Lively is looking forward to her deposition next week, and it should follow the same rules as every other witness in this case.” The legal battle began in December 2024 when Lively, a mother of four, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and a smear campaign. Weeks later, Baldoni filed a counterclaim against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for defamation and extortion.
