Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday: Season 2 Teaser Out

The teaser kicks off dramatically as Wednesday navigates an airport security checkpoint, calmly revealing an assortment of concealed weapons, including brass knuckles, a machete, and a taser, all hidden within her attire. The security staff is left astonished when they uncover a bottle of sunscreen among her belongings. Showcasing her typically sardonic demeanour, Wednesday glances at Thing (Victor Dorobantu) with amusement over his choice to bring the suntan lotion. This noted her affinity for darkness rather than sunlight.

Subsequently, her parents, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzmán), drop her off at school. Morticia comments, “This is the first time you’ve ever willingly returned to a school,” to which Wednesday responds that returning feels like “returning to the crime scene,” since she knows “where the bodies are buried.” She even gifts her roommate a doll crafted from real human hair to kick off the chaos. “Wherever there’s murder and mayhem, you will always find an Addams,” she proudly declares.

In a chilling moment, Morticia warns Wednesday, “Every family has dark secrets that can have deadly consequences,” but Wednesday, unfazed, declares, “I do my best work in the dark.” The beloved series is set to return for streaming on August 6, with the second part following on September 3. Unlike its predecessor, which was primarily filmed in Romania, this season took place in Ireland.
