With stunning dance moves, movie-like stage changes, and her strong stage presence, J.Lo delivered a powerful six-minute show. Jennifer Lopez Performs To Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish & Benson Boone Tracks
Her set featured some of the biggest songs of the year. She danced and performed to Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us, Charli XCX and Billie Eilish’s Guess, and Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things. She also brought energy with Tinashe’s Nasty and added a fun twist with Shaboozey’s country-rap hit A Bar Song (Tipsy).
A heartfelt part of her performance included singing to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ emotional track Die With a Smile. J.Lo moved through pop, rap, R&B, and country with ease, showing off her wide range of talent.
After her performance, Lopez spoke to the audience. She said, “I had to kick things off by turning it up to the biggest songs of the year and dancing my heart out for all of you.” She also reminded fans that the AMAs are unique because the public gets to vote for the winners. “This year, there were more votes than ever before,” she added.
Almost ten years later, both J.Lo and the AMAs are making a strong comeback. After not airing in 2023, the show returned this year with new award categories like Album, Song, and Social Song of the Year.
