Rapper Drake Bets Rs 6.41 Cr On Royal Challengers Bengaluru To WIN Ahead Of IPL 2025 Final

Canadian rapper Drake has made headlines by betting $750,000 (about Rs6.41 crore) on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to win their first Indian Premier League (IPL) title. He placed the bet just before the big final match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Drake Bets Rs 6.41 Crore On RCB

Drake shared his bet on Instagram using the crypto-betting site Stake. If RCB wins, he could earn over $1.3 million (around Rs11.11 crore). He also added RCB’s popular slogan “Ee Sala Cup Namde” to his post, surprising many fans, especially in North America where cricket isn’t very popular. RCB, led by Rajat Patidar, have never won the IPL since it began in 2008. PBKS, captained by Shreyas Iyer, are also hoping for their first title. This final is special because, for the first time in three years, a new team will be crowned IPL champion.

Betting around the world has been huge this season, with more than a billion dollars reportedly wagered. People are betting on everything—from who wins each ball to who wins the match. Drake’s large bet has only added more excitement to the event.

RCB reached the final after beating PBKS in Qualifier 1, while PBKS defeated Mumbai Indians in a close match. Both teams have played 36 times and won 18 matches each, showing how evenly matched they are. Virat Kohli has scored over 600 runs this season and remains a key player for RCB. On the other side, PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer is also in great form.

With big stars on both sides and Drake’s huge bet, fans around the world are eagerly waiting to see who will win the trophy tonight.
