Taylor Swift is no longer single! The pop star’s Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce popped the question and the ‘Lovers’ singer has said YES! The Grammy-winning superstar and Super Bowl winner took to social media and jointly announced their engagement. Taylor Swift Is Engaged To Travis Kelce

Taking to their Instagram handles a couple of hours ago, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared a joint post announcing their engagement. The pop star and her Kansas City Chiefs tight end fiancé shared several pictures from the proposal along with a playful caption. The duo wrote, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

The first of the five pictures shared is that of Travis down on one knee popping the question while in a lush garden filled with pink and white roses. This is followed by an image of the now-engaged couple lost in each other’s eyes and then a close up of Tay’s million-dollar ring. The other pictures included in the carousel are those of the couple embracing each other and making the most of the moment. As per reports, he dreamy proposal took place at a garden in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

According to People, Kelce proposed with a ring made by New York City-based designer Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. Stay tuned to know more about the stone, the cut and its price tag.

Taylor-Travis Relationship

Rumours of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first sparked in the summer of 2023, when the Kansas City Chiefs star player was seen attending Tay’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium. Interestingly, at that time, Travis hoped to gift her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but never got the chance. However, Swift got to know about it via podcast – New Heights, and since then, the two spent quality time with each other.

In the last year, Taylor and Travis have been spotted together at a number places, including Kelce’s NFL games, Swift’s Eras Tour shows, as well as at outing with family and friends. Swifties and netizens alike when in a frenzy when pictures of duo kissing on the field after Travis’ Super Bowl LVIII win in 2024 surfaced online.

The singer even tweaked her song Karma during her Eras Tour shows to mention Kelce. The edited lyrics read, “Karma is the guy in the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” Travis was also part of Taylor’s performance during her London show. He made an appearance during the The Tortured Poets Department set.

Taylor even appeared on he Kelce brother’s New Heights podcast earlier this month to announce her 12th studio album – The Life of a Showgirl, which many suspected would be a precursor to an engagement.
