Netflix today unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for Wednesday Season 2, bringing back everyone’s favourite goth icon with even more mystery, mayhem, and monstrous secrets. Following the global success of Season 1, Jenna Ortega returns as the iconic Wednesday Addams, navigating life at Nevermore Academy while uncovering eerie new threats that lurk in the shadows.
Wednesday Addams Season 2 Trailer Out
While it may be the first time Wednesday has “willingly returned to a school,” as Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) notes in the newly released trailer for season two of Netflix’s Wednesday, Ortega’s character has her own reasons. Wednesday even compares her return to Nevermore to “returning to the scene of the crime,” because “I already know where the bodies are buried.”
However, there’s one body she’s eager to avoid burying this season: her best friend Enid (Emma Myers). “Enid dies and it’s all my fault,” Wednesday teases in the season two, part one, trailer. Her mother asks what she saw after noticing the black tears running down Wednesday’s face. Though secrets are the bedrock of the Addams family, Ortega’s Wednesday admits in the footage, she also knows, “The sooner I get answers, the sooner I can save Enid. Or die trying.”
Miles Miller On Wednesday Addams Season 2
Co-Creator, Showrunner, and Executive Producer Miles Millar shares, “We really wanted to find some new obstacles for Wednesday. She thinks she has it all under control and discovers that human interaction isn’t as easy as she thought.”
