Cannes 2017: ‘Murder’ actress Mallika Sherawat graces the red carpet in a flowy gown!

If you thought that Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be the only Bollywood divas at the 70th Cannes Film Festival this year, you may be a tad wrong. Lo and behold! Welcome Mallika Sherawat, who will also be joining them. If the reports are to believed, the 40-year-old actress returned from a vacation with her French boyfriend Cyrille Auxenfans and has now made a stylish entry at the Cannes red carpet  2017. The ‘Murder’ actress is photographed wearing an outfit by her favourite designer, Georges Hobeika, just like last year.

Also we’ve noticed that the actress was quite excited to attend the film festival and right before heading to France, she posted a short video on her official Instagram account where she broke the big news and made it viral. In the video, she can be seen breaking the news that she will be attending the festival. Mallika captioned the video as, “Off to cannes #cannesfilmfestival2017 #cannes #france #lovemyfans.”

FYI, Mallika Sherawat is the brand ambassador of Free A Girl, an international organisation dedicated to raising awareness regarding sexual exploitation against children and human trafficking.

Talking about the gorgeous dress donned by Mallika, it was a flowy off-shoulder gown. We loved the little flowery details on the dress, but what caught our attention was Mallika’s lip colour. Her pout’s colour was not the same vanilla and delicate as her outfit, but was killer contrast, which was bang on.

Look at the way her fans and paparazzi were cheering and shouting for her. Mallika surely is a big name there.
