Naam Shabana

The prequel of Akshay Kumar’s hit film ‘Baby’, Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Naam Shabana‘, recently made it to the theatres and to the delight of the makers, the film is able to pull the audience to the theatres in good numbers. Being a woman-centric film with only a cameo from superstar Akshay Kumar, ‘Naam Shabana’ has managed to do a decent business at the box office.

As per the statistics, the weekend collection of this film stands at Rs 17.75 crore at the box office. The film had a slow start at the box office and it collected only Rs 4.75 crore on day 1. But in the coming days, ‘Naam Shabana’, witnessed a growth in box office numbers. On day 2 it collected approximately Rs 6 crore while on day 3, that is on Sunday, it collected Rs 7 crore at the box office.

‘Naam Shabana’ clashed with Rahul Bose’s film ‘Poorna’ and surprisingly both the films received amazing reviews from the audience. This did prove to be an advantage to the films to garner good box office numbers.
