Movie Synopsis:

Dharampal (Paresh Rawal), an atheist brought up in a Hindu household realises that he was born to Muslim parents, in order to meet his ailing biological father Dharmapal learns how to become a true Muslim with the help of Nawab Mehmood Nazim Ali Shah Khan Bahadur (Annu Kapoor). At the same time Dharampal’s son falls in love with a girl whose father is a follower of a spiritual baba named Neelanand (Naseeruddin Shah). Dharampal publicly admits that he was born to Muslim parents, which affects his son’s relationship and his marriage is cancelled. An enraged Dharampal reveals the true identity of Neelanand, who is accused of adulterous relationships, Dharampal’s son is finally allowed to marry the love of his life.
