'31st October' movie release date pushed ahead

All the moviegoers who were waiting to catch Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das starrer ‘31st October‘ on big screens this Friday, may have to wait now for a couple of weeks. The release date of the movie has been pushed ahead from October 7 to October 21 after a PIL was filed against it in the Delhi High Court.

This PIL was filed on Tuesday to stop the release of the movie, which is based on the aftermath of the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, which had eventually led to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. According to a report in an agency, the makers are saying that this current problem is coming f a Delhi-based close aide of the Congress party who wants to ban the movie.
