The ‘first look’ of ‘Naam Shabana’ hints at the courageous story of a fiercely fearless woman

Taapsee Pannu had garnered praise for her performance in ‘Pink’. While she made her Bollywood debut with the 2013 comedy flick ‘Chashme Baddoor’, it was ‘Pink’ that gave her desired exposure, after Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Baby’. All these days, we have been waiting for the second film of the ‘Baby’ franchise to arrive.

The wait isn’t over, but the film’s first look is here! Titled ‘Naam Shabana’, it features Taapsee in titular role.

The determined, courageous look of Taapsee is visible from the first look.

In ‘Baby’, she played an undercover officer who joins an operation to catch terrorists. ‘Naam Shabana’ is an extension of her character. Akshay Kumar, Manjo Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Elli Avram are also parts of the project.

Helmed by Shivam Nair, the film is slated to release on 31st March, 2017.
