Actor Emraan Hashmi recently spoke about how he feels that filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has monopolized the horror genre.

Emraan spoke about it at a recent promotional event for his forthcoming horror flick ‘Raaz Reboot’. He said, He has kind of monopolized the space as not many directors in our country tend to take up movies of this genre. Because I am personally very fond of horror flicks so working with him has been an enriching experience for me. During the shooting of Raaz 3 I got a chance to learn the knack of shooting scary scenes and filming 3D shots.”

He also said that earlier when he had completed shooting for the third instalment of ‘Raaz’, he had no intentions of taking it forward. “I refused my part in the next part long back. I told Vikram that I believe we won’t be able to do anything better than Raaz 3, while we were having its success party. But when he narrated this story to me a year back I was immediately impressed and realised it would be an awesome experience for horror lovers and something that they have never witnessed before,” said Emraan.

He also revealed something about the movie, Along with phenomenal visual elements, it is a package of intense a love story and good music. We have shot it in Romania in -18 degree so lot of hard work has gone in and I am sure people would love it.”

‘Raaz Reboot’ is written and directed by Vikram Bhatt and features Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora in lead roles. It will be releasing on September 16, 2016.
