Ranbir Kapoor to romance Alia Bhatt in Imtiaz Ali’s next?

‘Tamasha’ can be considered as one of the best movies for the year 2015. This film saw the return of Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali after their successful film ‘Rockstar’ in 2011. Between this period of 4 years, the actor once appeared as a host in the promotional campaign of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway.’ He took a interview of the director and lead actress of that movie Alia Bhatt about their experiences while making that movie. The ‘Rockstar’ actor shared a great chemistry with Alia in that session. But sadly, this pairing never made it as a leading pair of any movie. Those who eagerly waited to see this pair on-screen, here’s a good news.

Imtiaz Ali is all set to cast his favorite actor Ranbir Kapoor opposite the ‘Highway’ girl Alia in his next project, Sources say, “Ranbir with Katrina or Deepika has become a predictable pairing. He has never cared who his heroine was. In fact, in Rockstar, Imtiaz cast a completely out-of-depth Nargis Fakhri with Ranbir. Now, his next will feature Ranbir with Alia for the first time.”

This pair has been signed up for the next project of director Ayan Mukherjee as well which marks his third collaboration with actor Ranbir Kapoor after successful ventures like ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.’

Alia Bhatt who suffered a first major flop in her filmography with ‘Shaandaar’ would turn a lucky mascot for Ranbir Kapoor? Hope this fresh pairing would do wonders for both the actors, only time will tell.
