Deepika Padukone on Padmavati set death

As we all know, an unfortunate incident took place on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’. A painter, Mukesh Dakia, while decorating the sets, fell from the height of five feet on his head. He was rushed immediately to the hospital, wherein the doctors declared him dead.

Such a sad news. Deepika Padukone, the leading lady of the saga, is indeed shocked and saddened by the death of a part of the crew.

The actress took to her Twitter handle, and expressed grief over the untimely death of the man.

Deepika said, “shocked and saddened by the news…may his soul rest in peace and my most sincere condolences to his family…”
