Sridevi and Sunny Deol's 'Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai' song

Sridevi, who captured hearts in the 80’s and 90’s as a demure belle, is now wowing all with her mature acts. And now, she is all ready to captivate audiences with her brilliant performance in her upcoming thriller film ‘MOM‘. The talented performer will be completing a glorious 50 years in the film industry this year and the release of ‘MOM’ would surely add much more to the celebrations. Definitely, Sridevi is an actress who has achieved an unforgettable mark for herself, ruling over the hearts of her countless admirers. But, to achieve this position the actress has put in a lot of her dedication and hard work, and we have proof of the same.

Not many are aware that the actress had shot for a song in late 80’s with a high fever of 103 degrees. And it was not that easy at all as this song was a rain dance number. If facts are to be believed, the song was scheduled for a two-day shoot, and was choreographed by Saroj Khan. After wrapping up the first day’s work, Sridevi was down with high fever. But, the next day the actress reported on sets without fail and said that she will shoot for the song, though the makers were ready to cancel it owing to her ill health.

But, the actress gave her best shot and completed the song that day itself with a fever of 103 degrees. Everyone applauded Sridevi’s passion and dedication towards her work.

‘ChaalBaaz’ was released in year 1989 and was declared a super success at the box office. Talking about the song ‘Na jaane kahan se aayi hai’, it is still considered to one of the best rain songs in Bollywood.

Sridevi was honoured with the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her brilliant dual role performance in this film, whereas Saroj Khan won the award for Best Choreography for the same rain song ‘Na jaane kahan se aayi hai’.

Changes the way you will look at the song now, doesn’t it? In no way could we have figured out that Sridevi was ill, looking at her energetic moves in the number. Hats off!
