Union Minister and singer Babul Supriyo tied the knot with Delhi-based air hostess Rachna Sharma on Tuesday at a lavish wedding ceremony held at The Ashok in New Delhi. The love story of the duo is too sweet. They both had met on a flight that Babul had boarded from Kolkata to Mumbai where Rachna was present doing her work of air-hostess. Babul struck a conversation with Rachna and thus a new chapter in his life journey was started which has now definitely reached to a beautiful destination. The two were dating each other for the past two years before they decided upon this important decision. This wedding ceremony saw the presence of many high profile people from politics, to the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, Rajnath Singh, Digvijay Singh, L. K. Advani, Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Babul was earlier married to Rhea, with whom he has a daughter, Sharmilee.
