Amitabh Bachchan greets his fans

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan joined hands with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and made his way to be a part of NDTV-Dettol MahaCleanathon campaign held on Saturday. The Bollywood icon, who has himself been a strong supporter in spreading the awareness of Swachh Bharat, picked up the broom to clean the Sir J.J. Hospital complex as part of this campaign. The actor was seen using his bare hands to pick up the garbage and collect them in cane baskets.

Later, Amitabh even took to his Twitter handle where he wrote, “T 2368 – At #MahaCleanathon to acknowledge the Swachch Bharat campaign in Maharashtra, and to work so many others follow ..” [sic]

Apart from him and Fadnavis, renowned lyricist Prasoon Joshi was also snapped here at this campaign.
