Allu Arjun-led Pushpa: The Rise makes it to the Top 10 most-liked Hindi theatrical films ahead of sequel release- Full list inside

Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is undoubtedly one of the most awaited releases of 2024. Earlier set to release on August 15, the film has now been postponed to release on December 6, 2024, owing to unfinished shooting and post-production work. While the wait to see Arjun in and as Pushpa has increased by a couple of months, the film’s first instalment, Pushpa: The Rise, has achieved a feat.

As per a recent Ormax report, the film – which set some new box office records for the actor, has topped its ‘Top 10 most-liked Hindi theatrical films since 2009’ list. Scroll below to check out the list and know which films this action-drama has left behind.

Allu Arjun-led Pushpa: The Rise tops Top 10 most-liked Hindi theatrical films since 2009 list

Sharing the data on X (formerly Twwiter) the actor’s fan club – Allu Arjun USA FC, wrote, “Top 10 most-liked Hindi theatrical films since 2009: Pushpa – The Rise: Part 01 shares the top position with 3 Idiots, becoming only the second film ever with an Ormax Power Rating of 90. #AlluArjun on the top and #Pushpa2TheRule to 100 kodtam”

According to the list, Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise (Hindi) have the same Ormax power rating – 90. They are followed by Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike (86) on the thrid spot, and the Hindi version of Prabhas’ Bahubali 2 (85) and Bahubali (83) in the 4th and 5th spots, respectively. The remaining five films on the list include Aamir Khan’s Dangal (82), Farhan Akhar’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (82), Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji (80), Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju (80) and Yash’s KGF: Chapter 1 (79).

About Pushpa 2

Pushpa 2 is directed and written by Sukumar and sees Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna reprising their roles from the first part. The upcoming sequel also stars Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Shanmukh and Ajay Ghosh stepping into the shoes of their already-established characters. The film has been gaining momentum thanks to the release of its songs Pushpa Pushpa and The Couple Song.

The film will release on December 6, 2024, and fans have their anticipation high.
