The studio reopened around 3 a.m. on October 9. Sources report that district officials, along with representatives from the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board and a police contingent, arrived at the studio around that time to unlock it.
What Happened?
The studio had been sealed by district authorities following directives from the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, which claimed the facility was operating without the necessary licenses and in violation of environmental standards mandated by the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
The closure had cast doubt over the continuation of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12, forcing all participants to vacate the premises. In response to the uncertainty, the organisers relocated the contestants to a private resort in Bidadi, Bengaluru South district.
