Kalabhavan Navas Death Suspected Heart Attack

Malayalam actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Navas has passed away at the age of 51. He was found unconscious in a hotel room in Chottanikkara, Kochi, on Friday evening. The hotel staff informed the police after noticing that he had not come down for check-out. Navas was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.

The police suspect a heart attack as the reason, but a post-mortem will be done at Kalamassery’s Government Medical College Hospital to confirm the exact cause. His body is currently kept at the SD Tata Hospital and will be handed over to the family after examination.

Navas was staying at the hotel for the shooting of the Malayalam film Prakambanam. Police found no signs of foul play in the room. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed his condolences over the sudden death of the actor.

Kalabhavan Navas was widely loved for his skills in mimicry, singing, and acting. He started his acting career in the 1995 film Chaithanyam and became known for his comic roles. He acted in many popular Malayalam films, including Mimics Action 500, Hitler Brothers, Junior Mandrake, Mattupetti Machan, Amma Ammaayiyamma, Chandamama, and Thillana Thillana.

Apart from movies, Navas was active in television and stage performances. His father, Aboobacker, was also a well-known theatre actor. Navas came from a family with a strong background in the performing arts.

His wife, Rehana, and his brother, Kalabhavan Niyas, are also part of the film industry. His sudden death has shocked fans and the Malayalam entertainment world, where he was respected and admired for his talent and warm personality.
