Singer Rahul Sipligunj got engaged to Harinya Reddy on August 17, and heartfelt wishes poured in from his colleagues in the film industry. Rahul Sipligunj, the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu 3 and the singer of the Oscar-winning song “Naatu Naatu” from RRR, has officially tied the knot. The singer shared the first pictures of his engagement on social media, referring to his fiancée Harinya Reddy as his “forever.”

The engagement ceremony took place in Hyderabad on August 17. Rahul posted adorable photos from the event on Instagram, with the caption, “Forever. Our new beginning.” Interestingly, images of the couple had leaked online a few hours before Rahul officially shared them. The private ceremony was attended only by close friends and family.

In the photos Rahul shared, he is seen holding Harinya close, kissing her hand, and appears overjoyed to have found his soulmate. One picture even captures the moment he got down on one knee to place a ring on Harinya’s finger.

Who Is Rahul Sipligunj?

Born and raised in Hyderabad, Rahul began his music journey in 2009. He initially gained fame as an indie artist creating Telugu music videos. That same year, he started singing for films, debuting with College Bulloda for the Naga Chaitanya-starrer Josh. Over the years, he delivered hits like Singareni Undi, Prema Katha Chitram, Pedda Puli, and Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana.

His career reached new heights with the song “Naatu Naatu” from SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which he performed alongside Kaala Bhairava. Following its Oscar win, the Telangana government honoured him with a Rs 1 crore award. Besides singing, Rahul participated in Season 3 of Bigg Boss Telugu, emerging victorious. He also serves as a judge on Super Singer 3. In 2023, he made his acting debut with the film Rangamarthanda.
