VD14 is a grand pan-India project inspired by real historical events from 1854 to 1878, set in the 19th century. It marks the third collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Mythri Movie Makers, after their successful films Dear Comrade and Kushi.

On the work front, the actor is currently looking forward to his next project, Kingdom, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. Starring Bhagyashree Borse in the lead, the film is set to hit the big screens on May 30.
