The cast of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show visit Attari – Wagah Border; meets with Border Security forces and their families

Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show effortlessly united friends and families, across the country through the joy of laughter every Saturday. Close on the heels of season 1, Kapil and his gang of friends prepare to launch an all-new season on 21st September. To take this spirit of togetherness even further with its theme of celebrating India and its vibrant culture.

This season will embody shades of India not in one but many ways. Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh arrived in Amritsar to experience the lively spirit of India amidst the Retreat Ceremony at Attari – Wagah border. At the ceremony, the atmosphere was palpable with patriotic energy, marking it as the perfect start to the next season.

Kapil Sharma on the overwhelming love and response received from the audiences said, “Aaj itna josh dekh ke aisa lag raha hai ki dobara 18 saal ke ho gaye hum log. Aise he aap log apna pyaar banaye rakhiye. Aur yeh jo mahaul hai wo adbhut hai. Shukriya aap sab ke pyaar ke liye.”

Archana Puran Singh on her first ever visit to Attari – Wagah border shared, “Pheli baar yahan aakar aisa lag raha hai ki pure Hindustan ka pyaar humari dharti mata ke liye dekhne ko mil raha hain.” She excitedly, along with the audience, started chanting ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, further enhancing the experience for everyone present.

This was followed by a wonderful evening with the BSF (Border Security Forces) Jawans and their families, who gathered in hundreds to meet the cast. With laughter in the air, the energy was quite high as the cast engaged with the jawans and their families wholeheartedly.
