EXCLUSIVE: Abhishek Bajaj BREAKS SILENCE On Age-Shaming Kunickaa Sadanand In Bigg Boss 19; States, “Woh Hammesha Age Card Khelti Hain”

Abhishek Bajaj addressed the controversy surrounding his alleged age-shaming remarks towards Kunickaa Sadanand. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, he expressed disappointment over being targeted while others’ comments went unchecked. He stated that his intentions were never disrespectful and that calling Kunickaa ‘Dadi’ was not meant as an insult but as a term of endearment. Abhishek further pointed out that Kunickaa often used the “age card” in the game and played it strategically.

When asked about him age-shaming Kunickaa Sadanand on Bigg Boss 19, Abhishek Bajaj said, “Haan, yeh kaafi baar mujhe bhi pata chala ki mujhe kaafi cheeze boli gayi hain aur jo mujhe boli jaati thi, unhe call out nahi kiya jaata tha. And mujhe woh bilkul acha nahi lagta tha, kyunki I was playing very smartly, and I was a person who was keeping all the emotions on the face. Aur rishton mein toh dil hi lagta hai na yaar. Aur unka jo age-shaming ka topic tha yaar, woh dadi ki age ki hai! And I was told in Weekend Ka Vaar that woh contestant hi hain, toh hum unhe criticise kar sakte hain. Aur woh kya hota hai, age card woh hammesha khelti hain. Agar aap dekhoge, toh woh mere saath zyada khelti hain, Ashnoor ke saath bhi khelti hain.”

He continued, “Even in the captaincy task, she pushed me, aur unhone Ashnoor ko bhi hug karke pakad liya tha. Unhe pata hai ki hum ache log hain — hum thoda morally intact rehte hain, hum respectful hain, hum yeh sab nahi karenge. Toh woh bahut game khelti hain, aur daadi ko main ‘Dadi’ bolunga, Dadi ek title hai. Main apni dadi se bahut pyaar karta hoon.”

Concluding the actor said, “Aur unko lagta tha ki unka hi ghar hai, unke according hi cheeze chalengi. But aisa nahi hota na, Bigg Boss house hai, koi vriddh ashram thodi na hai ki hum bas aapko respect hi dete rahenge aur aapka dhyaan rakhte rahenge. Hum apna point of view toh rakh sakte hain na. Unko agar aap criticise karte ho, toh woh bahut personally leti thi. Aur haan, unhone bhi bahut cheezein boli hain bahut faaltu baatein. And she was discounted and disreputed, which was not right.”

Abhishek Bajaj was recently evicted from Bigg Boss 19 alongside Neelam Giri.
