Amit Tandon confesses to CHEATING on his wife more than once; says, “It destroyed her”

Actor Amit Tandon – who is known for shows such as Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Dill Mill Gayye, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, recently made a shocking confession. The actor – during a recent chat, admitted to cheating on his wife Ruby on more than one occasion. Scroll below to read his confession.

Amit Tandon confesses to cheating on his wife

During a recent interaction with Siddharth Kannan on his podcast, Amit Tandon got candid about his career and personal life. While talking about the ups and downs of his marriage, the actor opened up about his infidelity. When asked if he ever cheated on his wife Ruby, the actor replied, “Yes, I did. Now what do I say.”

He continued, “Yes, I have had moments where… I am thinking of how to put it respectfully but this has no respect. I let my impulses get the better of me. In that moment, I let parts of my past carry forward. Obviously, kuch waqt to usko kuch pata bhi nahin tha (for some time she had no idea). But eventually, when she got to know, it destroyed her.”

The actor added that his infidelity resulted in their marriage cracking. He said, “It creates a crack in your relationship, and sometimes it can’t be repaired. It just keeps on growing. Fast forwarding, we had a child thinking that bacha hone se sab theek ho jayega (a kid can fix everything). It doesn’t.”

Amit’s marriage

Amit Tandon married dermatologist Ruby in 2007. The duo separated in 2017 but eventually reconciled in 2019. They share a daughter named Jinaya.
