Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal recently opened up about her personal struggles during an emotional episode, just days after her family issued a heartfelt statement urging the public to stop spreading negativity about her. The spiritual influencer broke down after comments made by fellow contestant Kunickaa Sadanand about her mother, leading her to share her painful journey.

Tanya Mittal Recalls Her Father Beating Her And Mother Saving Her

Tanya revealed that she fought hard to reach where she is today, sharing that her mother was her biggest pillar of support, especially during times when her father would physically abuse her. She recounted, “My father used to beat me, and my mother would save me. I started my business with great difficulty. I had to take permission to wear a saree or even step outside. And,I was 19 and nearly got married off; I wanted to die.”

Her family’s response to the negativity came through a statement expressing pride and concern. They said, “We cannot explain the mix of emotions we feel seeing Tanya on Bigg Boss. As parents, we are proud of her but hurt to see her being targeted and spoken about cruelly by people who don’t know her heart. We request everyone to wait until her journey is complete before passing judgments. Your attention-seeking reels and allegations leave scars that last a lifetime.”

They also appealed to the public to be kind and not harsh on Tanya, emphasising the emotional toll such negativity takes on their family. “Please keep us out of this. It’s a difficult time for us. Our daughter was raised with love, and it pains us to see her subjected to such harsh words. We hope that kindness prevails. We stand by Tanya, with love and faith. Stay strong, our girl—we love you.”
