Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar has revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. The Sasural Simar Ka star shared the emotional news with her fans on Instagram and asked for their prayers and support.

In her post, Dipika wrote about her recent health issues. She shared that she went to the hospital because of pain in the upper part of her stomach. After tests, doctors found a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver. It was later confirmed to be stage 2 cancer. Sharing the post, she wrote, “Keep Me In Your Prayers.”

She also asked her fans to keep her in their prayers as she starts her treatment. Soon after her post, many celebrities and fans sent their best wishes and prayers for her quick recovery.

To comfort their followers, Dipika’s husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, posted a late-night video on their YouTube channel. In the video, he shared that the cancer has not spread in her body, which is a relief. He said, “The doctors have conducted all necessary tests, and by the grace of God, the cancer has not spread in her body and is just restricted to the tumour. She will be fine once the tumour is removed through surgery, Inshallah.”

Dipika Kakar is widely loved for her role in the TV show Sasural Simar Ka and was also the winner of Bigg Boss 12. She married Shoaib Ibrahim in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2023.
