EXCLUSIVE: Gauresh Gujral Opens Up About His ‘Misunderstanding’ With His Splitsvilla X6 Connection Zalak Gohil; Reveals If They’re Dating Now

Known for his fun-loving personality and strong task performances on Splitsvilla X6, Gauresh Gujral, lovingly called the ‘Curly Hair Lover Boy’ of Splitsvilla, has often stood out for balancing emotions with gameplay. While Zalak Gohil remained his primary connection inside the villa, Akanksha Choudhary was his ideal match during the game. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Gauresh got candid about his equation with Zalak, their misunderstandings, and whether the two are dating now. Read on to know what he shared.

Opening up about how things changed during the swap, Gauresh Gujral said, “Ha mere aur Zalak ke beech me swap ke waqt thodi misunderstandings ho gayi thi. Hume laga tha ek–do din baat karke sort karenge, par usse pehle hi swap ho gaya. Jab Aakanksha aur Yogesh swap hue, they were really into each other. Aur mere aur Zalak ke beech mein cheeze kam ho gayi thi.”

Speaking about the merger episode and why he avoided discussing details publicly, he maintained a guarded stance, “Maine show mein bhi bola tha, main woh misunderstandings bahar nahi nikaalna chahta. Woh kaafi personal hai. Kuch cheezein mere andar hi rahengi.”

Explaining how the game’s format shaped his decisions, Gauresh broke down the difference between emotional and strategic gameplay. He said, “Toh agar aap aise mauke mein swap hoga, and you will be in the Pyaar Villa, where you have to be an ideal match, like it’s very important to be an ideal match. Aur Paisa Villa mein toh paise chahiye na, wahan split coins chahiye. Toh wahan pe mentality connection ki baad mein aati hai, pehle paisa kamao.”

Gauresh Gujral Says Only Zalak And Akanksha Are His Type

He revealed that only Zalak and Akanksha are the only girls he considers his ‘type’, adding, “Usmein, if you have money, if you have split coins, then you will survive in the game; otherwise, it’s very difficult. Aur Pyaar Villa mein tumhe pyaar chahiye, tumhe apni compatibility dhoondo. Toh woh mere ko dhoondhni padi, toh maine dhoondh li Aakanksha mein. Aur Zalak aur Aakanksha ke alawa maine kisi ladki se baat hi nahi kari. Matlab agar koi do type lagti hai mere ko, toh meri type bas Zalak hi aur Aakanksha ki lagti hai.”

When Zalak appeared emotional on screen and mentioned missing him, Gauresh clarified that edits may not always show the full picture. He said, “Dekho, edits aise hote hain. Main aapko bataun, dil toh maine wahan bhi nahi dukhaya. Main bahut thaan ke bolta hoon. Aur maine yeh camera pe bhi bola hai. Aur jo perfume wali baat hai, uska aage ka part dekhoge toh woh bhi dikhayenge. Usmein bhi maine bola hai ki dekho, maine tera dil nahi toda hai. Tu soche ki maine tujhe bahut hard breaking kar di, lekin nahi. Maine Aakanksha ke saath bhi aisa kuch nahi kiya ki tujhe lage maine dil toda hai. Aakanksha ke saath main day one se clear tha ki Zalak thi, Zalak ka connection tha us villa mein. Aur uska Yogesh ke saath bhi connection clear tha.”

Gauresh Gujral On His Connection With Zalak And Their Misunderstanding

Gauresh further added, “Phir Zalak ne jab mujhe bola ki uska dil toot gaya, ki maine aisa–aisa kiya, waisa–waisa kiya, toh maine bola, dekho, maine aisa kuch bhi nahi kiya. Shayad tujhe jo dikh raha hai woh clips ki wajah se hai. Unhone tujhe aise edits dikhaye hain jisse lag raha hai ki yeh sab ho raha hai. Maine aisa kuch bhi nahi kiya. Yeh sab editing ka khel hai. Kyunki jo clarity thi, woh edits mein dikhayi hi nahi. Clear tha ki jab Zalak aayegi main uske saath kheloonga, Yogesh aayega toh woh uske saath khelegi. Toh jo clash dikhaya gaya, main nahi maanta. Aur agar Zalak mere pe koi allegation lagaye, toh main nahi maanta, kyunki I know I have very clear points with myself. Mujhe pata hai main kya kar raha hoon aur kya nahi kar raha.”

Finally, addressing the question everyone has been waiting for, are they dating now? Gauresh revealed, “Main aapko bolna chahunga, we are still figuring out what it is. Toh iska answer aapko show ke aane wale episodes mein zaroor dikhega.” And when asked if they cleared things outside the show, he concluded, “Yaar, woh jab clear honi hogi ho jayegi, show pe hi clear ho jayegi.”
