Smriti Irani is making a big return to television with the reboot of her famous show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Before the new version starts, the makers released a promo that brought back many memories for fans. Smriti will once again play the beloved character Tulsi Virani. In the promo, a family talks about how much they loved the original show. They are excited about its return. One person wonders if Smriti Irani would come back since she is now a politician. But the others are sure she will return—and they’re right.

The makers also announced that the show will premiere on Star Plus on July 29 at 10:30 PM. It will take over the prime-time slot once again, just like it did many years ago. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor, who changed Indian television with her popular serials. Smriti Irani will lead the new version too, but the rest of the cast has not been revealed yet. Fans are expecting the reboot to break TRP records, just like the original.
