Veer Hanuman actor Mahir Pandhi, who has been a part of projects like Vanshaj, Choti Sarrdaarni, and Congrats My Ex, says fashion for him is about leaving a mark.

Mahir Pandhi On What Fashion Means To Him

He said, “For me, fashion is more than just comfort. Earlier, it was only about wearing something comfortable or something that made you look good. But now, fashion to me is about leaving a mark.”

“I don’t go for things that are too jazzy or loud, but I do believe in making a statement that reflects my mood,” he added.

Mahir Pandhi Confesses His Fashion Sense Has Been Evolving

He also confessed that his fashion sense has always been evolving as new trends kept coming in. He said, “I wouldn’t say that I suddenly started putting effort into my sense of fashion. Fashion is about experimenting and understanding what works best for you. I can’t pinpoint a particular age when my fashion sense developed because trends keep changing. I’ve been changing my hairstyle constantly and sometimes people find it a bit too extreme, but I’m okay with it.”

Mahir mentioned that when he first started understanding fashion, he drew inspiration from his peers, but he stressed that it also depends on one’s financial situation. He said, “Getting inspired by fashion and actually implementing it depends on your financial situation. Coming from a middle-class family, I didn’t have the liberty to experiment much. But as life progressed and I started earning my own money, I learnt to invest in the right things.”

“For me, fashion comes after essentials like food, housing, and necessities. Now, I’m at a stage where I get inspired by different people, though I can’t name just one. Recently, Pedro pulled off something fabulous. Since I’ve been a model, I’ve been exposed to a lot of styles. I love experimenting with my looks, including my outfits, jewellery, and hair. However, as an artist, hair can be restrictive since I have to maintain a certain style for shows,” he added.

What’s In Mahir Pandhi’s Wardrobe?

His wardrobe consists of a lot of simple black and white pieces, along with T-shirts, denims, cargo pants, shoes, and NFL jerseys. He shared, “When I go out, I like to accessorise with some jewellery. Many men today shy away from jewellery, but for me, it’s a go-to trend. I love pairing white sneakers with a good pair of denims. I don’t like tight fits, but I do appreciate a nice Cuban chain around my neck. These days, I’m into iced-out jewellery and diamonds—they definitely catch the eye.”

“I keep adding new things to my wardrobe, but the real challenge comes when I have to let go of older pieces. I hate parting with them. When I do, I make sure to give them to my staff or others while they are still in good condition and not when they’re completely worn out,” Mahir ended.
