EXCLUSIVE: Shilpa Shinde Credits ‘Vibhuti’ Aashif Sheikh For Her Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 Comeback; Recalls, “Unhone Ek Phone Kiya…”

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 is all set to tickle funny bones once again, this time with a refreshing twist. The much-loved comedy returns with a spooky supernatural flavour, unfolding in the mysterious town of Ghunghatganj. Adding to the excitement is Shilpa Shinde’s comeback as the original Angoori Bhabhi, a move that has already sparked nostalgia among fans. Shilpa Shinde Remembers Late Writer Manoj Santoshi

Talking about coming back to the franchise with Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0, Shilpa Shinde says, ”Sach batau toh maine kuch socha hi nahi tha, kabhi nahi socha tha ki mai ye karungi. Lekin haan mera bohot instant tha I’ll say, sab baate chal rahi thi lekin kuch aur karte hai wahi maine socha tha lekin Aashif ji ne ek phone kiya tha, uske baad maine kaha ki haa main kar rahi hu main aa rahi hu, kyuki humare writer Manoj Santoshi Ji the, aaj wo yaha nahi hai ek alag acchi jagah hai, ye unka ek character tha, woh humesha chahte the ki mai karu, ye bhabiji unka ek character tha unhone bohot pyaar se banaya tha aur likha tha, toh bass aisa lagta hai unhi ke blessings hai aur shayad main ek dum haa bol gayi, fir maine zyada socha nahi.”

Aashif Sheikh, who plays Vibhuti Ji on the show, shared, “Humara toh bond shuru se hi raha hai, mera shilpa ke saath bohot strong bond raha hai, because jab humne ye show shuru kiya tha toh us time humare jo scenes hote the bade interesting hote the, aur bohot log like karte the off course Tiwari ji ke bhi sabke hi hote the lekin humari jo hai ek chemistry create ho gayi thi, meri aur angoori ki, toh mai enjoy karta tha usko. Now that she is back, I think it’s good news for everyone, the audience as well.”

Rohitash Gour, who plays Manmohan Tiwari, husband of Angoori Tiwari on the show, added, “Maine social media pe dekha ki har aadmi old Angoori ko miss karra hai, humare lockdown ke time ke old episodes jo the woh across all channels sabsa zyada dekhe gaye, tab maine dekha  ki log Shilpa ko kitni mohabbat karte hai kitna pyaar karte hai, toh inka aana natuarlly ek nayi jaan fukne jaisa hai.”

Shilpa Shinde, on being asked if she watched the show post exit, replied, “Jab mai khud show me thi tab main apna show nahi dekhti, toh maine khaas dekha tha show, aur mai actually inko bohot enjoy karti thi, mujhe accha lagta tha, maine dekhe hai episodes. Toh mujhe accha laga tha mujhe maza aata tha.” Avoiding any drama following.
