‘ACP Pradyuman’ Shivaji Satam Breaks Silence On His Exit From CID, Says, “I Have Not Been…..”

Crime Thriller CID has been an iconic show and has a huge fan base even today. The show’s characters  ACP Pradyuman, Daya and Abhijeet became important parts of our lives. However, in a rather disappointing update, reports are circulating that ACP Pradyuman aka Shivaji Satam will mark his exit from CID. The actor has now reacted to the claims.

ACP Pradyuman aka Shivaji Satam to leave CID?

Reacting to reports, he told Bombay Times, “I am personally not aware if the character will be exiting the show or not. Currently, I am enjoying a nice long holiday and have not been informed about any future shooting for CID.”

He added, “However, I have not been told whether my track is over or not! As of now I am not shooting for the show. I am planning to go on a holiday in May, because my son who lives abroad is coming to India. I have enjoyed playing ACP for 22 years in the earlier season. It has been a great journey. The show has given me a lot. As of now I am just taking a break and am going to enjoy my life. I have worked hard and everyone deserves a break. Whether my track will be revived or not is something the makers know well.”

A few days back, India Today reported that the beloved character will die in the show as he becomes a victim of bomb blast attack. The publication quoted the source: “The team recently shot the episode, which will go on air in a few days. As of now, not many details have been shared as the makers want this to be a big shocker for fans.” After the news, reports were also rife that Parth Samthaan will join the show and fill in his shoes bringing new twist and turns. However, nothing has been officially confirmed.
