Deepika Padukone to collaborate with Meghna Gulzar?
Deepika Padukone has been on a hiatus post the success of her period drama ‘Padmaavat’. Rumours of her impending marriage with beau Ranveer Singh have been on rise for quite some time now. There have also been reports of the diva returning the signing amount for a movie with Vishal Bhardwaj. But looks like a certain filmmaker has been able to tempt the leggy beauty out of her hiatus.
Rumours abound in Bollywood circles that the ‘Piku‘ star is all set to team up with ‘Raazi’ director Meghna Gulzar for her next. According to a report in DNA, the two ladies have begun the initial round of discussion. However, the details about the project have been kept under wraps.

According to a DNA report, trade magazine Box Office India has hinted that a famed lady director is looking to do a film on twins on the lines of Dilip Kumar’s ‘Ram Aur Shyam’, Hema Malini’s ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’, Sridevi’s ‘Chaalbaaz’ and Anil Kapoor’s ‘Kishan Kanhaiya’.
On June 25, 2018, DNA too had reported that Deepika could be doing a remake of ‘Chaalbaaz’. But there has been no confirmation of the same from Meghna or Deepika.
On the personal front, it is being reported that, Deepika is all set to tie the knot with beau Ranveer Singh in November this year. The duo has opted for a destination wedding and might tie the knot in Italy in the presence of close friends and family members. Later, the newlyweds will host two receptions – one in Mumbai and the other in Bengaluru for family and friends.
