Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is going through a purple patch on the professional front and personal front. After announcing her wedding with Ranveer Singh, it seems that Deepika would be a part of Aamir Khan‘s ‘Mogul’ project as well.

As per a report in Bollywood Life, “Aamir Khan, who is co-producing the biopic of T-Series founder, Gulshan Kumar, titled ‘Mogul’, has approached Deepika Padukone to play the female lead in the film.”

The ‘Padmaavat’ actress has considered the script but has not signed it yet. However, it is very likely to happen. Earlier, Aamir Khan had backed out from the project due to director Subhash Kapoor, who was accused of sexual misconduct. But soon after Subhash’s exit from the project, he returned as the co-producer of the film.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar was supposed to play the title but opted out of the project due to creative differences. After the exit of Subhash Kapoor due to allegations of sexual misconduct, a new director will be taking over the project. Aamir Khan, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of his historical drama ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. He will be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. The film is slated to release on November 8. The film also has Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.
