EXCLUSIVE: Renuka Shahane to direct a dark comedy?

Actress-director Renuka Shahane is currently busy with the promotions of her film ‘Bucket List’. However, the actress soon has plans to go behind the cameras yet again.

Renuka who has earlier directed a Marathi film ‘Rita’ has now completed her next script which is a black comedy.

“Renuka has now scripted her next Marathi film which she wants to direct. It’s a black comedy and it’s based on the police force. She is keen to cast Ashutosh Rana for a particular character in that film,” a source said. (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE: Vicky Kaushal to hit 92 kilos for ‘Uri’?)

Renuka who has dominated the TV industry in the 90’s has come a long way. It would be interesting to see her directing her husband Ashutosh Rana also a powerhouse performer.

Ashutosh Rana is known for his films including ‘Dushman’, ‘Sangarsh’, ‘Raaz’ etc.
