Govinda plays daddy to Ranbir Kapoor on reel

Actor Govinda the dancing star is turning to being a father onscreen and that too of Ranbir Kapoor In his upcoming movie ‘Jagga Jasoos’. Anurag Basu had requested the star and on hearing the script he had given his nod to the character role.

As per sources, “The two had a long meeting last week. Anurag explained the character to Chi Chi (as Govinda is fondly called) in detail. Chi Chi loved the subject and has consented to do the project in principle.Chi Chi is not playing a serious character. The role will tap his excellent comic timing.”

Well it will be good to see Chi Chi back onscreen after a long hiatus.
