‘Takht’ features a heavyweight line-up consisting of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar. The film is based on the Mughal era and chronicles the story of two warring brothers. The magnum opus has been reportedly pushed due to the delay in its first shoot schedule.

A source quoted by Bollywood Hungama said, “Given that the film will be an opulent visual masterpiece and is also a period flick set against a Moghul backdrop the pre-production has taken longer than expected. This stage which was supposed to be completed a while back is far from over and will take the next few months as well. Keeping this in mind the first schedule which was expected to commence between June-July has now been pushed till the end of the year.”

Hopefully, Karan can put all the speculations to the rest by issuing a statement. Stay tuned to Bollywood Bubble for all the latest news and updates.
