Shocking! Fawad Khan to be replaced by Saif Ali Khan in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’?

Seems like the ban on Pakistani artistes is going to another level, as in spite of IMPAA stating that the ban is not retrospective, people are threatening to boycott ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ that stars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, respectively. After the shocking news of Mahira Khan being replaced, there is yet another shocker which might be awaiting the fans of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Yes, if rumours are to be believed, Fawad Khan is to be replaced by Saif Ali Khan.

The recent happenings on the border have left everyone shaking, and seems like entertainment industry is bearing the most brunt of it. However, Karan Johar, the director of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ had been in support of Pakistani artistes, because of which many people were threatening to boycott the movie.

Now, if sources are to be believed, the team has been considering using technology to replace Fawad’s face with that of Saif’s, though they also feel that now it is too late for the replacement. Also, the nationalities of the lead actresses, played by Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai, which was originally Pakistani, has also been tweaked so that there is no more backlash.

Basically, with the little time in hand, Karan is taking all the precautions that he can. Well, seems like Karan’s directorial comeback is not going the glorious way it was supposed to go. Only time will tell as to what will be the fate of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, and Fawad Khan’s role in the same.
