The very versatile performer Rani Mukerji is back after 3 years with YRF’s ‘Hichki’. With absolutely no poster or teaser to start with, the makers released the official trailer today. The trailer has Rani Mukerji back in form, but it lacks the impact needed to touch our hearts. Rani plays the role of a lovable teacher named Naina Mathur who is suffering from a rare neurological condition called Tourette Syndrome. She is severely criticised and ridiculed due to her disorder but she turns her disadvantage into an opportunity and takes up the tough task of mentoring 14 students brought from a municipal school.

The hurdles she faces along the way while teaching these students is what the trailer consists of. While it starts off on a high note with focus on Rani and her disability, it later turns into a preachy one, with Rani trying to reform the students. Nothing new there, so overall, the trailer isn’t something that will evoke any wow response. However, Rani is definitely noteworthy with her act. (Also Read: FINALLY!
