‘Mulk’ Teaser: Rishi Kapoor-Taapsee Pannu’s courtroom drama looks intriguing

The teaser of ‘Mulk’ starring Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu was recently unveiled on social media. The 47 minutes teaser is fast-paced and promises an intense courtroom drama.

Taapsee, who plays the role of Aarti Mohammed, a defence lawyer is seen fighting a case in favour of Murad Ali Mohammed which is played by Rishi Kapoor. In ‘Mulk’ which is based on true events, Rishi is portraying a Muslim man who is accused of being a treason.

The movie has a stellar supporting cast including Neena Gupta, Ashutosh Rana, Rajat Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa and Prateik Babbar. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film has been shot in Benares and Lucknow. ‘Mulk’ will release on August 3, 2018.
