Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi

Even though Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming film ‘Newton’ is a black comedy, it sure holds a strong message to deliver. With the plot revolving around elections and voting process held in areas dominated by Naxalites, ‘Newton’ is all about a man who wants to bring a change to the society. Following this, the makers of this film have started off with #NewtonsOfIndia campaign to promote this film. They are going to release series of videos that talk about the real heroes of the society. In the first video (shared above) we have Rajkummar narrating story of a 98-year-old man named Shyam Saran Negi who has not missed on one single election since 1951. He was voted in every election held after Independence.

The second video (shared below) is of a man named Gangadhar Tilak Katnam from Hyderabad who has taken the charge to fill potholes in India. Till date, he has filled 1124 potholes in total on his own. (Also Read: OMG! Rajkummar Rao actually got beaten up for his role in ‘Omerta’)
