The Jungle Book : Kaa tells Mowgli how he became the man-cub

Walt Disney’s ‘The Jungle Book‘ will soon be hitting the screens in India. The movie foretells the story of a baby who is lost in the deep jungle and brought up by the wolves, a bear, and a panther. Recently, the makers of the movie have released a featurette narrating the story of how Mowgli (Neel Sethi) ended up in the jungle.

In the new clip, Mowgli runs into Kaa (the python) in the deepest and darkest part of the jungle. Kaa always on the lookout to gulp the man-cub hypnotizes him and tells him the story of where his parents are and how Bagheera (the panther) found him.

In the Hindi version of the film, we have ‘Bajirao Mastani’ beauty Priyanka Chopra as the voice of Kaa, whereas Scarlett Johansson voices the python in the English version. The IMAX featurette is an added perk to watching the movie on April 8.

Directed by Jon Favreau, the Hindi version of ‘The Jungle Book’ boasts a stellar cast of Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Bugs Bhargava Krishna, Shefali Shah, and Irrfan Khan.
